1. The staff at Mile High Parachuting consists of a group of highly experienced instructors and pilots who have a true passion for aviation and the sport of parachuting.

 

2. The senior instructors at Mile High have been teaching parachuting for over 25 years in the Ottawa area.

 

3. All of the instructors are fully licensed and certified by the Canadian Sport Parachuting Association. CSPA is recognized world wide and has been a leader in developing instructional and coaching programs.

 

4. Mile High Parachuting has also trained numerous military personal and has been involved with trials and evaluations of specialized parachute equipment.

 

5. The parachute equipment used at Mile High Parachuting is state of the art and maintained by CSPA certified parachute riggers.

 

6. Mile High Parachuting is located 5 minutes from the beautiful town of Arnprior and offers all amenities for you to enjoy your stay.

 

7. Mile High Parachuting has a basic approach to skydiving! Safety first, have Fun and Progress with a logical and structured program to help you achieve your goals.

 

Hours of Operation

Location

Mile High is now located on the east side of Arnprior Airport, in the Mobility Lab Hangar. Mobility Lab's address is 601 Johnston Road, Arnprior.

Local Attractions include:

Swimming, Restaurants and Golf Courses Close By.

The town of Arnprior is located only 5 minutes from the Drop Zone and offers a complete selection of restaurants and shopping facilities. There are also hotel accommodations minutes from our site. White water rafting is located 45 minutes west of the drop zone for people interested in planning an adrenaline filled weekend, skydive one day and white water raft the other.

Drop Zone Rules

1. The use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited and will result in your immediate removal from the airport.
2. The consumption of alcohol during operating hours is prohibited.
3. Spectators are welcome to come and watch, but they must understand there is a designated area for them and they are responsible for any children.
4. Children and pets must be kept under constant supervision and are not allowed to run free at any time. You must realize and understand that with all the activities taking place at the drop zone it can be a very hazardous environment.
5. Because of our proximity to water, flotation devices must be worn by all jumpers.
