Hours of Operation

Our skydiving season is typically from April until October. We are open the following days, weather permitting;

Wednesday: 3PM till sunset

Friday: 3PM till sunset

Saturday: Sunrise till sunset

Sunday: Sunrise till Sunset

There are also some jumps made during the week, if enough skydivers are available. If you have any doubt about when we are open or if the weather is questionable, please do not hesitate to call us at: 613-836-1256.

Drop Zone Rules

1. The use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited and will result in your immediate removal from the airport.

2. The consumption of alcohol during operating hours is prohibited.

3. There is camping and shower facilities available on site at no charge. We ask you help to keep the areas you use clean.

4. We would like to see every one have a great time, but we ask the noise be kept to a minimum after hours in order for the staff and other jumpers to get a good night sleep. We also ask that if you are intending to jump the next day you are rested and fully functional for the activities of parachuting.

5. Spectators are welcome to come and watch, but they must understand there is a designated area for them and they are responsible for any children.

6. For safety reasons there are no pets allowed at the Drop Zone.

7. Children must be kept under constant supervision and are not allowed to run free at any time.

8. You must realize and understand that with all the activities taking place at the drop zone it can be a very hazardous environment.

9. Because of our proximity to water, flotation devices must be worn buy all jumpers.

The town of Arnprior is located only 5 minutes from the Drop Zone and offers a complete selection of restaurants and shopping facilities. There are also hotel accommodations minutes from our site. White water rafting is located 45 minutes west of the drop zone for people interested in planning an adrenaline filled weekend, skydive one day and white water raft the other. We are located right beside a golf course and the new Antrim Truck Stop.

Directions

1. From Ottawa:

-Approx 40 mins west of Ottawa

-Take Hwy 417 West towards Arnprior/Pembroke

-When you reach Arnprior, stay on the highway and turn left at the second set of traffic lights on the highway, this is White Lake Rd.

-Travel on White Lake Rd for approx. 1/2 km and turn left unto Van Dusan Drive.

-drive straight down VanDusan Drive, you will see a gravel road and the Mile High Parachuting sign straight ahead. Follow the gravel road as it curves to the left and you will see our facility straight ahead.

2. From Petawawa:

-Approx 60 mins south-east of Petawawa

-Take Hwy 17 east towards Arnprior/Ottawa

-When you reach Arnprior turn right at the first set of lights unto White Lake Rd.

-Travel on White Lake Rd for approx. 1/2 km and turn left unto Van Dusan Drive.

-drive straight down VanDusan Drive, you will see a gravel road and the Mile High Parachuting sign straight ahead. Follow the gravel road as it curves to the left and you will see our facility straight ahead.

3. From Toronto, Trenton or Kingston:

-Approx 2 hrs north of Kingston

-For those traveling from Toronto or Trenton; take Hwy 401 East towards Kingston.

-Exit #623 (Hwy 15)

-Turn left heading North on Hwy 15 towards Smiths Falls and Arnprior

-On Hwy 15 N you will pass through the towns of Morton, Crosby and Portland before reaching Smiths Falls.

-In Smiths Falls, follow the signs for Hwy 15 North, you will be heading towards Carlton Place

-On Hwy 15 N you will pass through the towns of Numogate, Franktown and Blacks Corners before reaching Carlton Place

-At the intersection of Hwy 15 and Hwy 7, you will turn right following the sign for Hwy 7 East.

-Turn left at the next set of lights unto County Road 29 East heading towards Arnprior. Follow the signs for 29 East.

-On County Road 29 you will pass though the towns of Almonte and Pakenham.

-Keep following County Road 29 until you reach the over pass for Hwy 417. Take Hwy 417 West.

-When you reach Arnprior, turn left at the second set of traffic lights on the highway, this is White Lake Rd.

-Travel on White Lake Rd for approx. 1/2 km and turn left unto Van Dusan Drive.
